Model Comparison

This page compares several candidate models.

Explanation
Each row represents a different generation, with a different value of epsilon. The width of the constituitive bars indicates the probability of each model, estimated using the samples from that generation.
Interactivity
Hovering over a point displays the name of the corresponding model and its probability. Clicking on a bar navigates to the a view of the samples obtained for the corresponding model and generation.
Explanation
Each horizontal dashed line represents the value of the threshold $\epsilon$ for a generation. Each point represents the value of $d(x, x_0)$ for a single particle. Lines join the points representing particles from the same model and generation.
Interactivity
mousing over a point highlights all points from the same generation. Hovering over a point displays the distance for that point
Interpretation
For each generation, two things are apparent from the graph: how many particles correspond to each model (indicated by how far curves extend to the right), and how well the particles from each model match the experimental measurements (indicated by how far curves extend downwards).
